Aria is one of the biggest new developments in Sandy Springs, constructed on the former Glenridge family estate and farms.

It consists of townhomes, single-family detached houses and condos, all built in the Arts and Crafts style of 1800s England, with an air of medieval manor houses.

Pools and clubhouses are standard amenities.

The three sections have distinctive atmospheres.

Aria North, on the former Glenridge Hall summer-home estate, is atop a wooded hill, with some great views and a roughly 12-acre public park.

Aria Village is a denser, mixed-use site, with a prestigious location next door to Mercedes-Benz USA’s North American headquarters. (UPS and Inspire Brands are among other major corporations whose headquarters are Aria neighbors.)

Aria West is more of a traditional subdivision built on cul-de-sacs.

Aria is spread across three separate properties centered on the intersection of Abernathy Road and Glenridge Drive.

All have great access to major transportation routes, with Ga. 400 just to the east and the Sandy Springs MARTA Station, a stop on the Red Line train, within walking distance (under a mile). The Sandy Springs Tennis Center is just down the street, and the major shopping, dining and entertainment centers of City Springs and Perimeter Center are about a mile away.

City plans for multiuse trails could make the area even more accessible in the future.

The architecture is handsome, distinctive and often customizable, yet the housing also has been among the most accessible high-end new construction in the city.
